Maddie is a gifted writer and storyteller. It was always my dream for her to learn and tell our family stories to preserve our place in the world. We eagerly looked forward to every phone call or text message to hear updates about the food in the dorms, the strange people walking through the quads, or the latest thing to break down in the bathroom. Prior to that, she would entertain us with OCSA goings on, her latest misadventures with her crew, or songs that soundtracked her drive up and down the coast at all hours of the day. She loved to sit in the background (or backseat) and narrate the moments of our lives. With a belly full of laughs, an ear hungry for music, and a heart longing to be filled- we would listen intently to all her stories.

My goal with this website is to collect pictures and videos (including tik toks/Instagram/etc) WITH the stories behind them. Please include if you can, a text file or doc with each pic/vid you share. As you can imagine, there is no story too small, and no moment that is beyond mention, as we race to collect those memories you have of our beautiful girl. We’d love to hear about the moment captured, and even more, would love to hear about what it meant to you. Our hearts are shattered at this time, but we hope to heal by celebrating what our Maddie means to you. We hope to collect a million stories so that we have one to read for every day until we see her again.
